I'm Judit Sebők. My story is not a typical designer career. Basically I'm a teacher. A long time ago in another galaxy I was told not to get involved in anything crafty as I don't have the talent, so I didn't. I was busy being good at my work. For a long time I was happy with my life.

The story of fércművek began when I decided to learn how to sew.  First I made small brooches for fun. Later I started designing my own range of toys. I collected fabrics for my projects. More than I could use in a lifetime. That was the point when I discovered the world of fabric covered buttons. I began designing jewelry from them. I make them complete with my own jewelry bases. The newest addition to my collections is the range of book&glass jewelry. I browse old books for positive or thought-provoking words, close them in glass and make them into wearable jewelry. I believe in the power of words.

I live in Budapest, Hungary with my two sons and my husband.
